Our Responsibility
As ERSTE Immobilien KAG, we acknowledge this responsibility. We also strive to actively practise sustainability both as a company and as an employer. To this end, sustainability and its underlying principles are integrated into our corporate strategy and real estate products.
The concept of sustainability has a long tradition at Erste Group. That’s why we are committed to our Group-wide Code of Conduct. The Code of Conduct outlines rules on behaviour with regard to issues such as the environment, diversity, and social responsibility.
Increasingly, investors are also taking ecological and ethical standards into account in their investment decisions. From an early stage, we recognised that investors are looking for sustainable investment opportunities.
To respond to this need, we launched the first sustainably focused public real estate fund in 2016, ERSTE RESPONSIBLE IMMOBILIENFONDS. In late 2018, ERSTE RESPONSIBLE IMMOBILIENFONDS was awarded the Austrian Ecolabel in the “Financial Products” category. The Austrian Ecolabel is a seal of quality for sustainable financial products that invest in accordance with ecological and socio-ethical guidelines.
