The Company
ERSTE Immobilien Kapitalanlagegesellschaft m.b.H. was established in 2007 and stands for the development, issue and management of profitable, sound real estate investments. The ERSTE IMMOBILIENFONDS, which has been set up in accordance with the Austrian Real Estate Investment Fund Act (ImmoInvFG) that went into force on 1 September 2003, enables interested investors to invest large or small amounts in European real estate and to profit from the earnings generated by these properties.

ERSTE Immobilien Kapitalanlagegesellschaft m.b.H. is owned by Immorent AG, Erste Asset Management GmbH (the shares of ERSTE-SPARINVEST KAG were transferred in March 2010 to Erste Asset Management GmbH) and Sparkassen Immobilien AG. By combining the expertise of these shareholders, the company is in an ideal position to leverage their experience, knowledge and technical understanding of the real estate market and the investment market. As a leasing specialist with expertise in all areas of real estate, IMMORENT Aktiengesellschaft stands for the competent financing, development and implementation of real estate projects.As the second-largest investment company in Austria, ERSTE-SPARINVEST KAG has many years of experience in investment and stands for experience, continuity and quality and is especially prudent in its investment processes, including by focusing on sustainability in its actions and investments. Sparkassen Immobilien AG is applying its experience as one of the oldest real estate investment companies in Austria.Since June 2008 Bausparkasse der Österreichischen Sparkassen AG and Wiener Städtische Versicherung AG (Vienna Insurance Group) are further shareholders. With these two companies as additional shareholders, ERSTE Immobilien KAG will be backed by strong strategic partners that will play a key role in ERSTE Immobilien KAG's success.
The business of ERSTE Immobilien KAG is directed by Franz Gschiegl and Peter Karl. Franz Gschiegl, who is also managing director of ERSTE-SPARINVEST KAG, is responsible for sales, marketing, fund controlling and cash management. Peter Karl is responsible for property acquisition and management, fund and product management and legal issues.
